Jackie Gideon is one of Canada’s leading editorial and bridal makeup artists and Winner of the CNoMA "Best Bridal Makeup" Award, and the Canadian Wedding Industry "Best Makeup and Hair" Award.  Jackie is a graduate of OCAD.  She is a fine artist and an illustrator whose passion and medium is "makeup".

Jackie joined Wedluxe magazine as a regular creative contributing producer of exquisite fashion and beauty editorials.  Stunning visual images are created using hair design, concept and visual production inspired by art, history, fashion, travel and film.

Her work has appeared nationally and internationally in Elle, In Style, Martha Stewart, Cosmopolitan, Tatler, Vogue Sposa, Sposabella, Donna, Flare, Arena and Time.  Her commercial and advertising clients include Cover Girl, Holt Renfrew, Cargo Cosmetics, Franco Mirabelli, Marcelle, Oil Of Olay, Shoppers Drug Mart, The Bay, AcuVue, American Express, Jones New York, Missoni and Hermes (to name but a few).

Celebrities have included Andie McDowell, Sophia Coppola, Julia Roberts, Shalom Harlowe, Angela Lindvall, Ines Ribeiro, Celine Dion, Monica Bellucci, Bryan Adams and Martin Sheen.

Jackie has been a guest professor at Sheridan College, and conducted guest seminars at Ryerson University and Humber College.  She was recently named the spokesperson for Cetaphil's 60th anniversary campaign.  She has also appeared as a guest on CityLine, Fashion Television, Breakfast TV, Bella and The Beauty Guide.
